Is It Worth Doing Visa Validation Trip?

Australia visa validation trip worth it

Benefits

Gives More Time To Plan

Planning to move to a different country is neverending. But especially after getting Australia PR, you might feel that time is running out fast.

Which Is The Best Document Translation Service In Australia?

best document translator australia

Last updated on September 26th, 2019

There are some things which you don’t realise you need until you need them. Document translation is one such thing. When I was gathering documents for my wife’s citizenship application, that’s when it hit me – her birth certificate was in Hindi! *horror face*

To make it worse, it was also partly handwritten. I needed an authorised translator who could create a certified English translation of my wife’s Hindi birth certificate without costing me an arm and a leg. Thankfully, The Migration Translators came to the rescue!

Who Are The Migration Translators?

The Migration Translators is a Sydney-based translation agency who provide certified translations for various documents such as Birth Certificate,

I Cancelled My Private Health Insurance. Here Is Why?

Private Health Insurance

Last updated on September 1st, 2020

I bought private health insurance in the first year I came to Australia. As of now, nearly half of the Australian population has private health insurance of some sort. Unfortunately, it’s a bit superficial when you look more closely. More on that later.

Wait I Heard There Is Something Called Medicare…

Yes, you heard right!

In Australia, there is a fantastic public health care system called Medicare.

If you are an Australian citizen or a permanent resident living in Australia, you get access to the world-class public hospitals in Australia under Medicare. Medicare covers almost everything including major and minor surgeries, ultrasound, pathology, doctor visits, maternity services and so on.

Last updated on July 22nd, 2020

After a few weeks, Manny, my friend who wanted to get an Australian passport for his baby daughter, called again.

Manny: Hello Harsh! How are you?

Me: I am good, mate. Looks like you got Australian citizenship certificate for your baby daughter.

Manny: Yes, I did. Thanks to your advice, I was able to get it without any problem. Plus, my GP was happy to endorse my documents so thankfully I didn’t face any hardships like you.

Me: Oh, that’s wonderful. So did you apply for an Australian passport for your baby?

Manny: No, not yet. I am planning to travel to India during Diwali time. So I want to get the passport for my daughter.
